Merry-Water Farms continues a farming legacy first started back in 1852.  Six generations have raised their families on our farm, including the current owners.  Four partners currently run the dairy with commitments to continuously improving welfare and environmental impact while producing high-quality dairy products to our customers.

To ensure the farm stays on top of the latest industry trends, it partners with several organizations across the state, including the Dairy Business Association, Edge Dairy Farmer Cooperative and Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin, having served in past leadership positions.

Merry-Water Farms utilizes advanced technologies to monitor and maintain the highest possible standards of environmental stewardship and animal welfare. One of the farm’s partners also partners in the Livestock Trust Institute, an organization committed to bettering cattle handling and welfare.

The farm also practices several environmentally sustainable practices, including cover cropping, minimum tillage manure application and manure solid separation.  In addition, the partners are negotiating with multiple groups on a potential manure digester project.  Our farm also utilizes direct-load hauling and regularly gives back to our community through local schools and programs.
